21 January 2012; Above are some of Elle's first candids of 2012! She was spotted out in Studio City in an outfit "only she could wear"! The outfit consisted of rolled up, high waisted jeans, an oversized v-neck tee, a vintage coat, and a pair of perfect 3.1 Phillip Lim black booties. Judging from what she's carrying, it looks like she was leaving a class of some sort!

Katy Perry Concert!

August 2011; Elle attended a Katy Perry Concert with a friend in this bright orange ensemble, including a vintage romper and adorable platform wedges that she also wore to this event. Elle told ASOS magazine. "I found this orange romper - 60s Japanese, corduroy and neon orange - at Golyester recently when I was looking for something to wear to a Katy Perry concert. On the side are light baby blue bows and in the hem on the shorts there's a bell, so it rings when you walk." (article source) How cute!

Halloween! (Costume, Hair and Makeup Look!)

Happy Halloween everyone! Sorry this post is a bit too late for the holiday, but maybe these tips will inspire you for next year!

31 October 2011; Elle spent Halloween out with her friends in this adorable rag-doll costume!

Instead of buying pieces for your costume, you can also make one! You can use these tips for a costume next year's Halloween!

1. Mix and match different fabrics for the look you want! They don't have to be the same colour palette, it is all up to you! Click here to shop fun floral fabric!
2. To achieve the doll-like look, you should try to achieve a young, girly look in your dress, primarily with puffy sleeves! Use patterns like this one with one of your pretty fabric.
3. The next step includes making that cute apron! Use patterns like this one with a retro edge to exude Elle's signature style.
4. Elle completes the look with exposed bloomers just like a doll! There are pattern packages, like this one, that include bloomers as well as other underclothes.
5. Elle didn't include this in her costume, but for fun, you can include some colourful, striped stockings like these paired with a cute pair of flats to complete your costume!

Elle's makeup and hair were very simple for this costume, but still cute and fun!

MAKEUP:

1. Apply concealer on all blemishes and flaws followed by a light amount of foundation. To finish, add a generous amount of powder to make your face as matte as possible, just like a doll!
2. Using the pinkest rogue you have, or maybe even a bright pink eyeshadow, brush this all over the apples of your cheeks.
3. For the eyes, apply a matte, nude colour all over the lids, then add a thin line of black eyeliner. Finish off with three, or more, depending on what look you're going for, lines under your eyes, made to look like fake lashes.
4. Apply a bright red lipstick on the centre of your lips to create the doll-like effect. If you wish to make the small lips look more realistic, apply concealer on the areas that don't have lipstick to create this illusion.

HAIR:

This look can work with either straight, wavy, or curly hair. Simply part your hair in the middle, create low pigtails, and tie white ribbon on each into bows.
